Today (sept 9th) was supposed to be a travel day from La Paz to Uyuni as it takes 12 hrs on the bus to get there, but we found out too late last night that we can only take a night bus. So we are left with another day to explore La Paz. Most of the day consisted of getting some laundry done and buying a hat and mitts as the salt flats are further south and supposed to be fairly cold. We checked out of the hotel and my bill was a whopping $24 for 3 nights stay, a dinner and a bottle of water! Bolivia will be the least expensive of the three countries I’ll be visiting, so I’m enjoying it while I can!

After a bit more running around we headed for the bus terminal.
