I have now given up on trying to keep up with these blogs..last week was incredibly busy!! a lot of the time was spent doing final reports and feedback reports for YCI. We also had to create a creative project that reflected the work we had done in the past 2 months.. it was a lot of work, but i am super happy for it to be done!!

It was really sad to say bye to everyone in Morogoro. we decided to do as much programming in the last week that was possible because of previous classes that had been missed in earlier weeks due to rain, cancellation, etc. We went to our final meeting at the Faraja office on Friday and got certificates from them which was really nice and unexpected! We relaxed and packed the rest of the day before we went out for dinner with Makho and Jessica.. it was a final good bye dinner from YCI..

Saturday morning sucked as well. we got up around 9 and went to Jess’s to do a few more feedback discussion type things. then we cabbed back to our houses to get our bags and move them to the Twiga Guest House. It was decided that de-brief would be done in Morogoro so that the Zanzi volunteers would have a chance to see where we had been working all this time. It was awesome to see them again! We met them at the bus station and brought them back to the motel.. then we took them to Rickys for a bite to eat.. it was a pretty laid back day because they were tired from a long day of travelling.. we went out for dinner with them later in the evening and then everyone crashed as soon as we got back to the motel..
