Ok, so I’m really behind, but I will do my best to catch you up.

After La Paz I headed to copacabana the next morning which is a city in Bolivia that is on the shoreline of Lake Titicaca – a big lake at high altitude…somewhere around 4000m. I was warned beforehand that it is a touristy town, but I didn’t mind and that isn’t always a bad thing. The main draw to the city was that it has a port that takes you to the Sun Island that is in the lake and supposed to be very nice.

Copacabana was actually a cute little town and I ended up staying for two nights before heading to the island. The lake was beautiful and it was easy enough to ignore the hassle from people trying to get you to buy souvenirs or go into their restaurant. On the bus to copacabana I met a girl from Belgium and we ended up spending the days in Copacabana and the Sun Island together.
